Grenada, known as “Spice Island”, is one of the most beautiful destinations in the Caribbean. The Point at Petite Calivigny is a luxurious, boutique residence club located on the exclusive southern coast. Newly opened, it now boasts 3 lavish villas along with 12 beautifully appointed 2-bedroom suites. Each one is blessed with spectacular ocean views.
The two-bedroom suites are on one floor and finished to a high spec that comes with access to a communal swimming pool and barbeque area overlooking Woburn Bay. Like most luxury suites, the design makes the most of the sea views so when you walk in the front door, you are immediately drawn to the bay views in front of your eyes. The living room is very spacious with dining for 4 guests, the décor has artwork from local painters adorning the walls which gives the soft-toned walls a burst of life. There is a kitchen unit with all modern appliances for any budding chef to cook up a tasty meal.
From the living room, guests can walk onto their balcony and take in the spectacular sea views from the solace of their ultra-comfy loungers. Resting here in the evenings while taking in the amazing Caribbean sunsets will live in the memory for a long time. The glistening swimming pool is just in front of you and here is where you will spend your days if you are not on the beach or out exploring the island of Grenada. Soak up the sun, sip on a cool drink, read your favorite book, or just sit back and relax… this is what island life is all about.
There is a communal barbeque area complete with a table and chairs for guests to use also. This can be reserved for you but contacting your onsite concierge.
Each of the suites has two bedrooms and there is a choice of having a Queen bed or twin beds in the second room. It also comes ensuite with sea views. The Master bedroom boasts a king bed with an ensuite bathroom and a furnished balcony which is a wonderful place to relax with a book or newspaper in the morning.
Guests staying at The Point Residence Club also have access to the communal Gym and the Spa and Wellness area. When you book in at the start of your stay, you will be appointed a lifestyle coordinator who will be happy to organize, yoga classes, pilates, personal trainers, and much more.
The beach is about a 5-minute walk down the hill, here you will find the beach bar which offers light bites and beverages throughout the day. The beach is a wonderful color as it’s a mixture of white and black sands, the blacker sands coming from the volcanic rock found on that side of the island. The beach is safe for swimming and out a little further is the reef, this has an amazing underwater sea world to be discovered here. Good to know is that if you don’t fancy walking up or down from your villa, we will organize a spin for you. Nothing is ever a problem at “The Point”
