This luxurious and stylish estate spans over 6,500 sq ft and sits on a beautifully landscaped 4-acre lot — the perfect retreat for a high-end group getaway, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests.
The Space:
Enter our gated 4 acre estate though the roundabout driveway that brings you to a captivating entrance! Our front courtyard will lead you into the grand foyer that breaks off into the East and West Wings of the house.
The West Wing features a Billiards Room with a top of the line Olhausen pool table and the coolest billiards light, 65" Smart TV, sound bar, custom built wet bar with mini fridge, and patio to the incredible backyard! This wing also includes a king bedroom on the first floor. Upstairs you will find another king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and across the hall is a custom built bunk room with patio views of the beautiful resort style backyard.
Cross back through the foyer to an even more spacious and grand entrance. When walking into the East Wing you will find our kitchen, breakfast nook and dining room. The great room has an 85” Smart TV, Restoration Hardware sectional, oversized commissioned artwork, large windows with abundant natural light cascading through and a view to the pool and a spiral staircase up to a loft. Off our fully stocked kitchen leads to a butler’s pantry and laundry space. Further down the corridor there is a cozy private king bedroom and ensuite bathroom.
The upstairs of the East Wing can be accessed through our back stairwell or up the spiral staircase. Upstairs sits the Master Bedroom. Here you will find a king bed, oversized shutter windows, and walk-in closet. Across the way is the huge master bathroom with a bathtub, stand alone shower, 2 sinks, additional vanity, and a bedroom sized walk in closet. Just outside of the master bedroom and bathroom is a poker room with a view that overlooks the great room. The last king bedroom in this wing feels similar to a bright and airy treehouse with its views.
Following the spiral staircase down to the Great room you will have access to the great outdoors! Our resort style backyard includes a diving pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, BBQ grill and plenty of seating between the dining space and lounge chairs.

Summary: This home is in a great neighborhood, quiet and residential. Communication with the property management was good. They answered every text we sent them. This would have earned 5 stars except there were a few issues. Biggest problem was that the shower on first floor bedroom did not function. Water only dribbled out. When we contacted the property manager, they promised to send out a repair man. Gerardo never showed up. The guests in that room had to walk to the primary room to bathe. We noticed that there were no Kleenex in any of the bathrooms. The hand soap in some bathrooms was mostly water, not soap. We were instructed to use a specific black wash cloth to remove makeup. No hair dryers in most bathrooms. We did finally find one upstairs in a bathroom. The primary bathroom only had a diffuser accessory, without an actual hair dryer. We loved using the pool, but it had not been cleaned. The bottom was filled with leaves.When we arrived, the person who greeted us saw that and said, “well no one really uses the pool in November”. We had 5 kids who used it multiple times a day! The jacuzzi was heated, but we had to keep calling the property manager to turn the heat back on. Apparently it was timed to turn off every 4 hours. It took a little over an hour to heat up. We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation in San Antonio. But for the higher holiday rates we paid, we would expect not to have the issues listed above.
