In the heart of a hamlet in the Morvan Regional Natural Park, we offer a former mansion dating back to 1903, which has retained its historical character but has also been renovated with quality materials. It sits on a beautiful landscaped plot of 1,500 m² and boasts numerous leisure facilities for enjoyable family moments. You'll be right in the heart of the destination chosen by "the world." Indeed, Morvan has just been named the best holiday destination in Europe for 2022. This is a long-awaited and well-deserved accolade for this region in the heart of Burgundy, a place still untouched by large tourist resorts.
Detached, single-story gîte with 3 steps at the entrance. Living room with fitted kitchen and dining room. Comfortable lounge with fireplace insert. One bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. One bedroom with a double bed (sleeps 2 children) and two single beds. One bedroom with a double bed and an adjoining shower room. A large bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub, and toilet. A second separate toilet. For babies: a wooden bed, high chair, changing table, and bath seat. For the enjoyment of young and old, the outbuildings have been converted into heated playrooms (10-kilogram bags of pellets are optional). The stable houses children's games, a rowing machine, an exercise bike, darts, and a table football table, offering the possibility of hosting family meals in the shade in summer and in the warmth in winter. The barn also features a ping-pong table, a large trampoline, a basketball hoop, and indoor and outdoor archery ranges, all secured for children. Pets are not allowed.
Installation of a 36kWp photovoltaic roof, allowing the gîte to be self-sufficient and supplying electricity to 10 additional houses. Creation of a fountain with illuminated waterfalls at night. For the toddlers, a lovely little caravan built by us. Finally, the pergola with mosquito netting in the center of the lawn on the terrace, for enjoying aperitifs or relaxing.
Covered carport for 2 to 3 cars. Beautiful enclosed grounds and garden also offer amenities for the whole family: swing, slide, and pétanque court.
Semi-inground heated swimming pool measuring 4.90 x 3 m, with a depth of 1.20 m, open from May 15th until September (weather permitting) and secured by a gated enclosure. A hot tub with direct access is available as an option directly from the owner: €160/week - €60/weekend. Safety and usage instructions are posted on site. (Open all year round).
Gas heating, wood, electricity, bed linen, and final cleaning are included in the rates.
Charges and extras: Towel rental: €5 per person for the stay.
