Our family friendly beach home getaway can be your family getaway too! Just steps from the beach, it has everything you need to enjoy your trip. We've also recently renovated!
The home layout has a large living and dining area at the front of the home, which has a large selection of games and a TV with local channels and a Fire Stick for streaming. Then you walk into a large functional stocked kitchen, great for cooking or serving a meal, has a coffee maker and tea kettle, and a full compliment of cookware and dishes. Then towards the back of the home are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom is a great kids room with two sets of bunk beds, and also a bed rail should one of the sleepers need a little extra support to stay in the bed. The hallway has a closet with puzzles and books for the family. The shared bathroom is spacious with a tub and shower, a large counter and sink, a kids friendly potty, and a stool for little ones to more easily reach the faucet. The second bedroom hosts a queen bed with nightstands and a dresser chest and its own TV. The third bedroom is the master, also with a queen bed, and has a dresser, nightstand and TV. The master also has an attached bathroom that hosts a shower, sink, and ample counter space for your things.
All bedrooms have Dohm sleep sound machines (with various soundscapes) for a peaceful nights rest, table lamps, easily accessible power outlets with USB ports, and ceiling fans.
The best part of the house is the covered deck off the dining area that hosts a seating area with some views of the water. It often has a great breeze and is in the shade after the early morning hours. There is a second uncovered deck that is shaded in the morning for your tea or coffee time.
A huge bonus for kids and families is the great play area in the backyard. It has 3 swings, a swinging buoy, a climbing wall, rope wall, stairs, a lookout point, and a large slide. There is a large open space for yard games and plenty of space under the home to be shaded on the hot days.
The home has some beach gear available outside that guests can borrow (or leave unwanted gear for other guests). The selection of items changes, so be sure to bring your favorite gear as well.
