Seasonal Notes:
Winter can be unpredictable in Canaan Valley, it sits at 3000+ feet so gets
more snow/weather than lower altitudes. Guests must be prepared with AWD/4WD
or tire chains for their vehicles to safely navigate to the valley and our HOA
community.
Spring/Summer/Fall:Canaan Valley's high elevation keeps average temperatures
much lower than the DC metro area giving you perfect hiking conditions and
cool nights to open the windows and let in the mountain breeze. With ceiling
fans and big windows that open in every room, everyone will stay comfortable
and cool all summer long. Though we do have AC, it’s quite frankly not needed!
