Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The place is magical, the outdoors activities are amazing. Campfire and husky sleigh tour were amazing.

Negative: Nothing was bad in my stay, but if the only thing I can say is that Unluckily the campfire activity wasn' t long enough (9pm departure from the village, arrival at Nellim at 10.20, stayed in the tent until 11.30 and back to the village at 1am) to see any northern lights as the days are getting longer,it was cloudy and we had the sunset lights until midnight, making it difficult to see anything. But the tour guide was very entertaining and very knowledgeable (Katie) and she gave us a very good story of the Finnish history and the Russian boarder history. Of course the weather is not to be blamed to the tour guide! Luckily we got to see the northern lights in Saariselka on Saturday night when it snowed for almost all the evening and the lights appeared in the sky at 1.30am ❤️
