Positive: This is a lovely apartment, with almost all the facilities I needed. It was clean and quiet. The kitchen area was good, with plenty of equipment. Of particular note was the shower, which was excellent - one of the best shower systems I've encountered in France. The bed was extremely comfortable. The issues I mention below were not enough to put me off giving this apartment a 9, partly because Eric, who was my contact, was always quickly available and communicated very well. However - I am fit and active. I always leave honest reviews on B.com and must therefore make it clear that there are 93 steps to the apartment from the ground floor. Persons who are not normally active might struggle with this.
Negative: A desk for work, and a bedside table and lamp for reading would improve the bedroom, and a toaster in the kitchen area, would make this apartment about perfect. There were no towels left for me when I arrived late at night (a mistake by the cleaner!) and two of the hotplates on the cooker didn't work, which was irritating, but the person responding to my phone calls managed to help with the latter, and I was able eventually to find some towels in a cupboard in the bedroom.
Summary: A clean, light, pleasant and quiet flat with almost everything I needed. I'd be happy to book again.
