This spacious, freshly updated lake-side home sits on 2 acres in a quiet neighborhood just around the corner from Lake Barkley Marina, Lake Barkley State Beach, Resort State Park, and Moon River Restaurant and Marina (see map in the images). This gorgeous lake estate boasts 3250 sq feet, 11 beds, private dock, kayaks, pedal boat, pool table, high-speed internet, all brand new furnishings and 7 new OLED flat screens. Shoot hoops in the front, fish off the dock. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sun room, roast smores by the fire pit, or grill steaks or your fresh catch on the Weber Grill!! You won't want to leave. The main floor offers two dinning spaces seating up to 11 (with an additional 3 at the bar). Large remodeled gourmet kitchen offers a coffee bar, new appliances, and plenty of prep space. The kitchen flows beautifully into the main living area's cozy seating, large flat screen, and a warm gas fireplace (for the cool months). Meander back on to the 20' 3-season sun room for that quiet glass of wine, or a game of chess.
The upper level offers three bedrooms, including a massive master suite with 5-piece bath, two other queen bedrooms, full laundry, and a second bathroom off the hall. The lower level is a fantastic escape/rec area. Large wrap-around sectional an assortment of DVDs, another large flat screen, and pool table, The bunk room is nearly 25' long and boasts a massive walk in closet, six (6) custom built in Extra Long Twin beds, flat screen, and two awesome 4' poofs for movie night.
Walk out the lower level to the back deck and out to the fire-pit for smores night. A large cascading staircase flows down the park-like hill to a large private dock. (If you have a sprinter in your group, let us know if they can beat our 21 second stair-run :-)) Grab the inner-tube, or enjoy our two kayaks or pedal boat. Located on the inside of a private lagoon, the dock and water access is very quiet and safe from large wakes or boat traffic.
