Getting Around:
A 20 minute drive will take you into the pretty and vibrant town centre of Girne (Kyrenia), where you can find some wonderful harbour restaurants serving fresh dishes of daily caught fish, whilst enjoying the views of the historic Girne Castle, and perhaps take a walk through the old streets of this lovely harbour area.
A 50 minute drive to the east and you will find the beautiful city of Famagusta with its Othello Castle and the city walls where you can spend time shopping and exploring its history. The Karpas Peninsula area, with its long and golden beaches is also an hours drive and is a great place to visit for its monastery and historic past. If you wish to explore more locally, there are plenty of excellent places to dine, walk and hike and the Korineum 18-hole championship golf course is just a short distance away with its golf course, restaurant and beach resort.
