Families will enjoy the breath-taking views past Sorrento and across the bay along with the stunning sunsets. This large pet friendly home is elevated with a private wrap-around deck providing ample space for relaxing, listening to the bird life or just enjoying the view.
In this quiet central location you are spoiled for choice with golf, hiking or mountain bike riding at your door step at Arthur's Seat National Park. So much more so close. You will not find a home of this quality for the price.
The space:
This spacious home has been specifically set up for families and their pets to be able to arrive, unpack, relax and dive right in to enjoying their holiday. The three bedrooms with four beds offer a variety of sleeping options. You will struggle to find a house with such breath-taking views and a private deck to enjoy it from.
The layout of the house provides two separate lounge areas, both with large smart TV’s providing access to all your favourite streaming services. The rear lounge also has an amazing free standing gas log fireplace to watch the winter sunsets or just to enjoy while reading a book and enjoying the view.
The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for big cook ups with a large fridge and a magnificent double oven. It is well appointed with a coffee pod machine, milk frother, sandwich press, rice cooker, 4 slice toaster, pots/pans, dishwasher and everything you should need to create your culinary masterpieces that you can enjoy in the huge dining room, with a table that easily accommodates eight with plenty of elbow room. We also provide an Ikea highchair if you have infant. The BBQ on the deck is always ready to go as another cooking option. We kindly request you clean the BBQ should you use it.
In the morning parents can relax on the deck with a cuppa and read a book while listening to the local birdsong. In the evening after returning from visiting one of the many local attractions it will be time to get a platter together and pull a stool up to the wine barrel on the back deck and watch the sunset and marvel at the changing colours of the peninsula and bay.
For those who simply can’t escape work we have a sit/stand workstation with two monitors ready for you to plug in your lap top. Be warned….. you may be distracted from your work by the incredible and ever-changing view! Naturally, Wi-Fi is available to all guests.
The kids will love the big back yard and the games room, where they will no doubt try to prove they are the family table tennis champion whilst the parents can supervise over a game of darts. There are lots of other games available including Finska, Bocce, plastic cricket bat and stumps (great for the beach) and more board games available in the sideboard upstairs.
There are two bathrooms including the ensuite to the master bedroom, and a separate toilet. Enjoy the luxury of heated tiling in the main bathroom and toilet. The house is perfect for longer stays with a full-size laundry, including dryer. We are very happy to discuss a rate discount for long stays. You can be confident of a good night’s sleep on the new mattresses and the quality linen provided. For your year-round comfort the home comes with reverse cycle heating and refrigerated cooling, and ceiling fans.
Whilst the house is not walking distance to the beach (5 minute drive) it is only 100 metres from the Bay View Public Golf Course, and you will even find two sets of right hand golf clubs at the house ready for your use. At the other end of the street, also only 100 metres away, is an entry to the Arthurs Seat State Park, where you will find amazing walking and dedicated mountain bike trails where you are sure to see much of the local flora and fauna including the many kangaroos. Be sure to check out the views on the Two Bays Walking Trail. In particular the walk to the Sea Winds Gardens and lookout. Incredible!
If you are hitting the beach then we do offer three boogie boards so long as you accept ALL responsibility for their use. We do not supply beach towels so be sure not to forget to bring yours along.
The house is central to so many attractions that there are just too many to list but the Hot Springs, mazes, markets, horse-riding adventures and wineries are always favourites and just minutes away.
Pets are welcome at the house so long as you clean up after them. The front and rear yards are fully enclosed providing security for your pets and children. Dogs do need to be sociable as our neighbour does have a dog and the wire fence between the properties is very see through. Pets that are properly house trained are permitted inside the house, but not on the beds or couches.
Please note we are unable to welcome party groups, including buck/hens nights and definitely no schoolies groups. The house is set up for couples or families with kids - with only four beds and is positioned in a lovely family-oriented neighbourhood. We have the utmost respect for our neighbours and cannot accept large groups or parties of any kind. You should know that, despite the willingness of young singles to share a bed, we are unable to take bookings for younger groups.
There is NO SMOKING or VAPING permitted in the house.
