Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Hygiene is at a very high level in all the areas of the hotel. Most of the staff is very polite. The water in the pool is perfectly warm. Food was good at a express restaurant in the pool area...

Negative: This hotel is mostly for german speaking visitors, and it seems that the hotel management want to stay that way, thus the lack of english language signs is obvious. You can conclude that from the first second after you book a room, their "welcome email" is only in german. And the simmilar things will irritate you during the whole stay if you are a nongerman speaking tourist. Their dinner is based on "fine dining menu", starter, soup, choose one of the three main dish, and a desert. This wasn't highlighted during reservation process and I think it should, since that menu is still rarity these days. Very exotic menu and very small portions. Our first day we had a miniature starter, the most disgusting soup (potato, onion, garlic soup) I ever had, good but small main dish, and a dessert that we never eat. So we left hungry. Quiet disappointing... The bed creaks and the mattress was low quality and extremely uncomfortable. Fine dining and cheap beds and mattresses.... This hotel is way overrated.... I ussualy don't leave low ratings, neither plan to do it this time, but the receptionist was so rude during our check out and that triggerd me. We left out bathrobe and a pool towels in the room but brought the hotel bag to the reception desk, and his reaction was like " why didn't you leave it in your room omg (with a very mocking gesture)" So rude for goodbye...
