A: The nearest channel markers are R1 and W1, which are close to the dam and the largest, deepest part of the lake. Shorewood Cove is in the Mountain View Shores neighborhood southeast of the State Park. The house is in a quiet cove and close to the best fishing, boating, and water sports area on the entire lake.

A: It depends. If you fish from private property then you do not need a fishing license. If you fish from a boat, then you need a fishing licence. Licenses can be purchased at the local marinas, some stores, and the state park. Beer is sold at marinas, stores and groceries - please enjoy responsibly.
