Summary: Cleanliness: Not thoroughly cleaned. For example: trash in trashcan under the bag, W/D covered in hair/dirt, heavy dust, dishes not thoroughly washed, hair/dust/garbage on the floor, trash in the outdoor area, dead bugs in a corner of the living room, disorganized linens, etc. in the closets (not sure if anything there was clean), food in drain of sink, stains on the comforter. No bathroom towels when I checked in, but hosts were able to drop-off towels the next day. Hosts offered to send a new cleaning crew, but I asked to be reimbursed for the cleaning fee instead, which they agreed to. Check-in: Easy! Was given a code. Accuracy: W/D is shared, which wasn't explicit in the listing. Listing mentioned there would be a hair dryer, iron & board, and kettle, but I wasn’t able to locate those items (did mention this to host). This felt like more of a basement unit -- the bathroom and kitchen ceilings are very low, shower is small. Communication: Very prompt responses from the host! Location: Beautiful neighborhood with pristine lawns and mansions, but unit is located off a busy street leading onto the highway. It can be noisy and hard to pull out of the driveway during busy times. Additionally, I did not find the drive times accurate (e.g. it was not “a quick 5-minute drive to Rainey St”).
