Summary: I had to contact the owner for the address the day before arrival. He did not give the door code so I was trying to get that info as other family members had arrived before me. He later sent a 4 page welcome package electronically. However, it was not printed anywhere at the home. He types the WiFi password and we were not able to get on line for almost 36 hours. Also, you can’t get cell phone reception there except for SOS calls. Most of our calls dropped if you could even get a signal at all. When opening the front door you are greeted with a mildew smell. They have fragrance oils and candles to try to minimize the odor. The queen bed in one of the downstairs bedroom is so hard it feels like a box spring instead of a mattress. The home feels cluttered and it seems like the owner lives there on a regular basis as the actual master bedroom is locked and blocked by. Small table. The home has potential, but was overpriced based on other properties that I have stayed at that price point. For instance, usually there are toiletries like shower gel and lotion provided in the bathrooms, but that was not the case here at the “estate”. Yes it was big, but not as expected.
