Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I was really surprised by the updated retro chique. The lounge was really cool. I wish I had come at a warmer time of year to enjoy the pool! The bartender was very friendly and sociable. I hadn't come with any expectations and the facilities and vibe letting to a surprisingly pleasant evening.

Negative: I didnt really get very good check-in information. The locks to the doors were confusing. In the morning when we went to grab a bite from the lounge the locks seemed to reset themselves and we had to climb through a window to get back in. Another couple was also telling us they had similar issues with the locks. The lobby attendant couldn't help us and didn't know when she would be able to reach the owner. It was also a little alarming that we were able to get through the window that easily because we didn't unlock it. It turned what had been a very positive experience into a somewhat negative one.

Summary: The look and feel of the motel was fabulous, but the systems need to be more user friendly.
