A wonderful calm space made more relaxing by sitting in the garden listening to the waves of the neighbouring Atlantic as you enjoy the fabulous surrkundings afforded by the large private garden. ‘The Surf House’ is a contemporary bungalow recently completely renovated, located on one of the most desirable residential areas of Widemouth Bay, just within 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, one of Cornwall’s Blue Flag & top surfing beaches. The house is adjacent to the South West coastal path, making The Surf House a wonderful place to stay for surfers, walkers, golfers & families in equal measure. The house boasts welcoming open plan living, a raised terrace area opening from the lounge & expansive garden area where you can enjoy al fresco dining with the sea as a backdrop protected from sea breezes. There is plentiful car parking for three cars, lockable annex / utility room for storing surfboards & bikes, outside shower, Smart TV. The house has three good sized bedrooms – accommodating 6 guests in one of either a super king, king or one twin. There is also one family bathroom with bath & shower. Nearby is the excellent local village shop with a daily fresh fish counter and they stock all daily essentials. There is also a good selection of pubs and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk serving great local food and drinks. Bude town, which has an excellent selection of restaurants and many really good small independent shops, is a short drive along the scenic coast road. A truly fabulous property and perfectly located by the golden Widemouth Bay sands and within easy distance of the many local attractions.

Summary: We absolutely loved staying at The Surf House. The property itself is great- spotlessly clean and beautifully and comfortably presented (the bed was by far the most comfortable we've ever encountered in a rental property, and we are very fussy). The garden is lovely and was a real bonus for us as our dogs loved it and so weren't crying to go down to the beach every 5 minutes. The icing on the cake is the incredible location, just minutes from the beautiful Widemouth Bay. We would be absolutely delighted to return!
