The Space:
Newly remodeled guest studio in back of main house. All new, adorably mini-sized appliances. The daybed sleeps 1-2, and sofa flattens to a single bed. Huge closet space for luggage. Cozy, plant-filled patio with table & chairs. Washer & dryer is shared with guests who stay in main house. You'll have your own private entrance through a gate, accessible through the alley.
Guest Access:
The entire studio is yours--make yourself at home! The patio with table & chairs outside the studio is also reserved for you, and the washer/dryer on the patio can be accessed by you and also guests staying in the main house.
The Neighborhood:
Walk to Adam's Avenue to enjoy craft coffee & cocktails, buzzy local eateries, and live music. Normal Heights is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in San Diego at the moment, with unique shopping, nightlife and family-friendly spots. Trolley Barn park is a gorgeous playground & park, and is a quick drive. Beaches are close--just a quick 15-min drive to the nearest one!
Getting Around:
The studio has street parking only, which at night can sometimes be challenging to find. Also, please be aware of street sweeping days, so you don't get a ticket. Uber/Lyft or walking are easy ways to get around.
Other Things to Note:
This studio is in the back of a main house. It is completely detached, no walls are shared. However, the parking spot in front of studio may be used by guests staying in the front house. In addition, guests of front house will have access to the washer & dryer located on your patio. These are the only aspects of the studio that are shared with other guests. Please note, studio kitchen has electric cooktop only, no oven.
Pets are welcome with prior approval and additional $125 pet fee per pet.
**No pets without prior written approval. If you're bringing a pet, you must follow airbnb's pet rules: dispose of all pet waste properly, never leave pet unattended in the home or backyard, and keep dogs leashed when walking them outside of the home.
San Diego now requires all guests to sign a Good Neighbor Policy document prior to staying. We do enforce their policy so it must be signed in order to receive checkin info, but we will make it super easy for you to initial and sign :) It can all be done online.
