Modern, luxurious cottage with a beautiful outdoor & indoor living space with plenty of quality furniture inside & out, new beds, new dock for clean, deep water swimming & fishing or to keep your boat at, a modern, bright kitchen with high-end appliances & cookware. Stools at the kitchen island to keep the chef company, with lots of room for the kids to play, a beautiful, glass shower enclosure with a built in heated bench, 2 cozy fireplaces (1 electric, 1 propane), close to hiking/snowmobile/ATV trails, all resting on the banks of beautiful Burnt River in The Kawarthas. A short drive into the quaint small town of Fenelon Falls is an opportunity you won't want to miss! A beautiful town no matter what the season! Watching the boats lock through Lock 34 on The Trent Severn Waterway while eating the best frozen yogurt from Country Cupboard is the summer experience you are looking for! Unique boutiques, restaurants & brewery patios, groceries, LCBO, beer store, public beach park, golf courses etc add excitement to to your peaceful cottage experience in all seasons. To keep rental and cleaning fees reasonable, linens including sheets, blankets and towels ARE NOT provided. Pillows are provided (1 queen bed, 2 doubles, 2 singles) A queen bed in the master bedroom, a bunk bed in second bedroom with a double and single, 2 sofa beds in living area - 1 double and 1 single)

During the summer season, we only take reservations of one week, checking in/out on Fridays. During the fall, spring & winter, we take reservations of a minimum of 3 nights but message if if you want to book a shorter stay.
No access to garage or hall closet
Keyless entry, security cameras on front door and yard. NO cameras in the house
A public boat launch is 3 minutes from the cottage - bring or rent a boat and tie up to our new dock
The river is perfect for miles and miles of smooth paddleboarding or kayaking, great swimming and fishing - fishing charters available- info in cottage manual
Our floating dock is taken out of the water for the winter season, usually sometime in October to late May, early June. There is still a deck by the water for sitting under the gazebo and the patio in front of the cottage facing the river
