Our wonderful property is located in the province of Teramo, amongst Abruzzo's fantastic mountains and nature. Often dubbed the greenest region in Europe, Abruzzo is one of Italy's most unspoiled regions. The house is in the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park, which offers fantastic activities. You could lose yourself for days in this terrific park. Abruzzo gives you the feeling of being transported to a different, stress-free world.
The main house is extremely spacious at 237m2 and comprises the first two floors of the property. The locked third floor is an area we use for storage and this has its own entrance.
On the ground floor of the main house, you will find a fully-fitted kitchen and utility area with a washing machine, dishwasher and chest freezer. The main living room is vast and comprises a comfortable TV area with a corner sofa, a dining area with a stylish table, and a piano and music system. The other two living areas are set aside for indoor games. One has a pool table and the other has a table and chairs for chess and other board games which are provided. An open fire and a pellet burner heat the whole house in winter. There is also a wet room on this floor.
Upstairs are four large bedrooms and two further bathrooms. Three bedrooms have EU king-size beds, and the last has two singles. Two bedrooms lead out onto the wraparound terrace so you can drink in the marvellous panoramic views.
Outside the house is an extensive private garden. It is split into various zones including an outdoor patio with a barbecue. There is a table and chairs provided for dining outside. Outdoor games are also provided: croquet, swingball and giant Jenga! There are also 400 walnut trees and 60 olive trees, and many other fruit trees at the house.
There is also a wooden cabin opposite the main entrance which is set up as a home office. It has its own water, sink and electricity supply.
