Summary: This was our 2nd trip to Placencia and the first for our daughter. Highly recommend the villa, it is just as pictured and the space actually felt larger than it seemed on the pictures. FYIs- hosts will cook breakfast for you on request. It was sssoooo delicious and authentic! They also helped us with private tour at very affordable prices (lower than taking a tour with a group in our experience).- Hottub was not heated (unless we missed the memo). We still enjoyed it in December.- Walkable to the sidewalk, bars, restaurants- Walkable to grocery stores, but you may want transportation for larger hauls- You are on a lagoon, ALWAYS have repellent on...the no see ums were viscious and hungry.- The road to the villa is quite rough, you won't need a 4 wheel drive, but it does get quite muddy and messy after a rain in case you are walking. - Really close to the Hokey Pokey (if you know, you know!).Would definitely return the next time we are in Placencia!
