Womberroo is a casual and comfortable, pavilion style home for up to 6 guests. It is a fairly remote property, surrounded by beautiful bush and rainforest that is unique to the area. Two guests are accommodated in the main wing, and a further 4 guests can sleep in the second wing. Both wings are linked by a covered walkway. Rolling lawns, a pizza oven, spa and firepit make Womberroo the perfect option for your secluded Kangaroo Valley stay!

Where will I be?
The property is 2.5 acres in size and is located at the end of a fairly long, fairly steep, tarmacked private road. Womberroo is a 15 minute drive to Berry, 10 minutes to Kangaroo Valley and if you are up for a half day or full day outing, the beaches at Gerroa, Culburra or Jervis Bay are within an hours’ drive from Womberroo.
Why choose Womberroo?
Due to its location, the extent of natural light and sun will vary according to the weather or the season, making every visit unique. It has lovely, long views of Kangaroo Valley and all the towns and villages that make the area special are a short drive away.
How is the property laid out?
Womberro has two separate wings. The main wing has a fully equipped kitchen, a large lounge/dining area with an open log fire and glass doors and panoramic windows to make the most of the fantastic view! The master bedroom is located on the mezzanine level with a queen sized bed and ensuite with a shower and a toilet.
The second wing has 2 queen bedrooms that share a bathroom, and a small lounge area with tea/coffee making facilities. Both wings are linked by a covered walkway.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
This particular property does not offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it's best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!
What about outdoors?
Womberroo is located in a secluded, peaceful and beautiful location. As a result, you are treated to stunning views of Kangaroo Valley from the property's elevated position. The spa and outdoor bath with hot and cold water are perfect for maximum relaxation. If you want to cook up a feast alfresco style there is a BBQ and a woodfired pizza oven, or choose to take it easy by the fire pit.
Please note that we do not leave firewood during the summer months. Should you require more wood for the pizza oven or firepit we do ask that you purchase from the local Service Station either in Kangaroo Valley or Berry, though they cannot be used if a fire ban is in place.
Stay warm or keeping cool?
There is a fireplace in the living room of the main wing and portable oil heaters to keep you warm in the winter. There are ceiling fans in every room to keep you cool in the summer.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Womberroo supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Womberro has open air parking for 3 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Yes! Dogs are welcome to stay at Womberro subject to the following:
- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture, rugs, or in the bedrooms
- Please bring a dog bed and and food bowls
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
Wildlife
Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
