Decorated with the 1940s in mind, when things were slower and simpler, this home is a perfect place to relax while enjoying the charming shops, activities, and restaurants of Mineola and the surrounding towns. It's just two blocks behind the quaint, historic downtown area, and within walking distance of good food, fun shopping, history-filled locations (including The Historic Select Theater that has been in continuous operation for over 100 years), and the Amtrak. If fishing and water is what you enjoy, there are several large lakes just a short drive away.
For nature lovers, the Mineola Nature Preserve is less than five miles down the road. The nearby towns offer even more historic sites, antique shops, unique boutiques, and the must see to believe Canton's First Monday Trade Days.
