This pretty Grade II listed property is located in the lovely Buckinghamshire village of Padbury, just 3 miles from the county town of Buckingham. This spacious cottage provides a wonderful stay and a base to explore the nearby area.
With lots of character features including exposed beams, this is the perfect place for couples, families and friends looking to stay for a few days or a week-long holiday. The kitchen enjoys a large breakfast table, perfect for planning the day ahead. You can enjoy a more formal meal in the dining room, get lost in a book in the snug or just cosy up in front of the log burner in the living room which also enjoys French doors leading to the pretty cottage garden. Upstairs you are greeted by three bedrooms, one of which boasts a fabulous en-suite with both a roll-top bath and a separate shower.
The village itself has a pub, butchers and many country walks on the doorstep. More local amenities can be found in nearby Buckingham with numerous independent small traders, traditional cafés, well-known takeaways, restaurants, pubs and old-fashioned tea rooms. If shopping is on your agenda, then a trip to Bicester Village is a must, or visit Milton Keynes’ shopping centre for a wealth of shops and eateries.
