Positive: There are a lot of really nice villas in Seminyak, and Villa Olli is definitely one of the better ones. It's hard to fault, and the pool is quite the architectural masterpiece, the wet edges create such a dramatic design for a simple in ground pool, so nice. I have previously stayed at Villa Olli when the garden and pool lighting turned off (on timer) a bit early in the night, and I returned to a pitch black villa after being out a bit late, this has since been adjusted and the garden and pool area look just wonderful right through the night. A night swim is definitely an option now if you're in the mood. The villa is set back from the street down an alleyway so the location is quiet, maybe even a little too quiet, but I'll take this over too much street or bar/club noise any day. Up on the corner of the alleyway on the main road there is an Italian Seafood and Pasta restaurant 'Pesce Sbronzo' that is open to 10pm.. You will definitely be missing out if you don't have at least one dinner there. Lovely atmosphere, authentic pasta, fresh seafood... soOooo good!
