Executive new build bespoke villa which excels in every level of luxury. Comprising of 4 large bedrooms 3 with en-suite designer facilities and an additional 4th bathroom. Situated in the established and popular Mar Menor golf resort the villa has superb views and is of course front line golf overlooking the 9th fairway, yet offers privacy and seclusion. The villa is south facing therefore benefits from glorious sunshine from dawn till dusk.The villa is on one level only making it incredibly suitable for anyone who may need wheelchair access.
It boasts an extra large 12m private swimming pool and a state of the art pool heater for all year round swimming, with underwater lighting included it really is incredibly special. There is an extensive array of quality outdoor furniture ideal for sun bathing, al- fresco dining or simply relaxing in the tranquility.We have a patio table which seats 6 and a further 6 good quality sun loungers.
The interior is furnished to incredible standards throughout, every single item is of the highest quality, from the Italian leather electric reclining sofas right through the fabulous imported chandeliers which dance in the light.
The outstanding lounge area features double height ceiling allowing for the warm breeze to circulate. There is also a sophisticated temperature control system ideal for summer or winter. As you would expect there is a state of the art sound and TV and WIFI system, giving you and your family every possible entertainment option.
The luxury Italian kitchen is every chef's dream boasting marble and granite throughout, it contains no less than two large American style fridges and even its own wall mounted TV.
2 of the bedrooms have their own patio doors which lead straight out onto the pool and garden area. Bedroom 1 is 5.1 by 3.6, bedroom 2 is 4.5 by 3.5, bedroom 3 is 4.5 by 3.5, bedroom 4 is 4.2 by 3.3, The living room is 7.3 by 5.6 and the kitchen is 4.7 by 3.5. The whole villa measures around140 sq. metres. There is a big modern kitchen with an island at which you can eat. It is fully equipped with every item you could possibly want including 2 fridges, both upright, 1 a fridge only, the other a fridge/freezer with the top half fridge and the bottom half freezer. We have loads of storage space, an oven and a microwave. We have both a washing machine and washing up machine.There is an ironing board and a brand new steam iron.There is a wooden composite floor throughout the villa which is extremely pleasant to walk on. All the en-suites are fully equipped with large walk-in showers, basins and W.Cs. The air conditioning system is the latest state of the art system with every single room being able to dial in the temperature that suits them. The villa has a very quick internet and Wi-Fi system. We are able to get around 20 mbs. As the internet system is so fast we have got 2 separate T.V. systems which operate through the internet. These systems pick up every channel you could possibly wish for, all the Sky channels, B.T Sport channels, an amazing selection of movies including the latest releases, many music channels and an I-player system that will play back any programme you've missed on any channel. The T.V system in the kitchen is totally separate from the one in the main room so 2 people can watch different channels.The main room has a beautiful 3 piece leather suite. All seats are fully electrically reclineable.There is a 50 inch T.V. in a recess complete with a sound bar, below this there is an electric pebble effect fire which gives off a lovely glow when it gets dark. We have a Bose sound system for playing music from I- pods.There is an extendable dining room table which seats 6-8 and a matching sideboard. We have also bought 2 beautiful chandeliers which compliment the very high ceiling. The villa also has a roof terrace with great views out onto the golf course and the 9th fairway.
We have spent a lot of money on the pool and garden area.This can be accessed from patio doors in bedroom 1 and 2 and,of course from the main room.We have built a 12m pool with a Roman End and u/water lighting.The pool if fully heated with an updated heating system.This pool, if not the largest on the resort, is certainly one of them. There is a patio area to the left of the garden, perfect for catching the evening sun. The remaining area has been fitted with top quality artificial grass. There is a wooden fence at the back of the pool.There is a gate in the fence that leads straight on to the 9th fairway. The whole area looks simply stunning.On the patio there is a large round table and 6 chairs with covers for eating or simply having a drink.We are also fitting a retractable awning so you would be able to get some shade from the very hot midday sun.We have bought 6 brand new sun loungers.
Mar Menor golf resort is the ONLY resort I would ever buy a property on and I would suggest by far the best resort to rent a property on. It is a long established resort with many long term residents. It has a terrific atmosphere, always busy and buzzing. There is a supermarket on the resort which sells a great variety of items at reasonable prices. It has its own community centre with an outdoor pool,its own restaurants ,pub, gym, spa and padel tennis courts. The resort often puts on evening functions, discos and live music. Although I would recommend hiring a car, it's perfectly possible to stay on this resort without one. Next to the gate that is nearest to us,about 300 metres, there is a boulevard with another half a dozen restaurants and another pub.
Los Alcazares is the nearest town. It is a Spanish town about 15 minutes drive away. It has a huge selection of supermarkets and banks and a beach with a boardwalk about 6 kms long. Many Spanish people come out for a stroll evening times and take a drink at the many beach bars dotted along there.There is also a big selection of restaurants in town. Many of the beach bars hire out sunloungers and umbrellas for about 4 Euros a day. A taxi to and from the resort to Los Alcazares costs about 15 Euros each way. The Roman town of Cartagena with all its sights is only 30 minutes away. The old Spanish town of Murcia with its beautiful cathedral and Casino housed in a beautiful old building,is only 40 minutes away.There are also some lovely Spanish seaside resorts with waterfront restaurants including San Pedro del Pinatar, Mazarron, Cabo de Palos and Santiago de la Ribera to name but a few.The area is legendary for golfers with around a dozen really good courses within about 30-40 minutes drive from the resort.There are also 2 huge retail parks, one towards Cartagena but our favourite is La Zenia, about 25 miles North up the motorway.This has all the famous outlet shops including Zara. You can get some real bargains here as Zara is a Spanish company and they often have sales on, many of the girls we know get their clothes from here. There is also a huge electronic store, supermarket and some good restaurants and tapas bars.
This is the second property we have bought on the Mar Menor golf resort.
