This lovely traditional stone cottage comes complete with its own studio in the garden. A lovely property for six guests set in a secluded 17 acres of native woodland. The property is close to Lough Slat, the popular town of Dingle and the Wild Atlantic Way.
The cottage style interiors are comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for your holiday. Recently renovated as part of a conservation project to retain the traditional charm and character with modern amenities.
The property is in a mountain location at the head of the valley beneath Stradbally Mountain (2713 ft) and by Lough Slat and Glanteenassig National Park. This whole area provides excellent opportunities for hill walking, climbing and mountain biking with waterfalls and lakes. There is a fine view down the length of the valley with Tralee Bay in the distance. The cottage lies at the end of a cul-de-sac road, 3 miles from the nearest beach, shop, pub and restaurant.
Visit vibrant Dingle, this bustling town is awash with colour from the pretty fisherman's cottages lining the harbour to the deep blue of the sea. Stop off at one of the famous ‘hardware pubs’ which sell beer and boots! The town has a Bohemian vibe and attracts many artists to this corner of Ireland. Drive the Conor Pass forest road for amazing views… This is Irelands highest road!
