Positive: The appartment was very spacious and comfortable. The views were simply amazing! There is also a large terrace, where we ate each day. The kitchen was well equipped (note that there is no microwave). The appartment is located near Stein, walking distance from the Appenzeller cheese factory, and a good starting point for trips with the car around the whole Appenzell canton. Ewa and Nick were very friendly hosts and the communication was perfect.
Negative: You cannot get the Appenzeller guest card in this accommodation (for public transport, cable cars and a lot of sights for free). Also, we seem to have picked a week when all the neighbors were mowing their gardens and working their saws, so it was quite noisy, sometimes starting as early as 7:30 in the morning.
Summary: It's true about the view!
