A pretty waterside retreat. Formerly part of 'The Bell Inn' , 'Bell Cottage' is a Grade II listed property arranged over three floors; the second floor provides impressive views across Cowes Harbour and the Solent, whilst there are views of the river from the ground and first floors too. Able to accommodate up to six guests, the property is ideal for couples or a small family. It offers two bedrooms with one double room on the first floor with a super king bed and one twin room on the second floor with two 3ft single beds (these can be put together on request to create a further super king bed) In addition, there is a bathroom, separate shower/utility room, kitchen and lounge, whilst to the rear of this terrace cottage is a small courtyard style garden, ideal for barbecues or just catching the sun in private.
The property is extremely conveniently placed for accessing the various sailing facilities of Cowes as well as mainland ferry links with the floating bridge link to East Cowes being extremely nearby just at the end of Medina Road.
Located just a few minutes’ walk from west Cowes’ shops, many pubs and restaurants and only a short distance from Cowes Marina and the Red Jet terminal. The cottage is easily reached by the half hourly Red Funnel high speed passenger ferry service or hourly car ferry service, both from Southampton Town Quay, It is worth noting the house does not have private parking and there are parking restrictions in the road, However whilst parking directly outside the house can be difficult, there is free on road parking availability in the neighbouring streets and multiple long term pay and display car parks nearby to use.
Please also be advised that this property is located extremely close to the floating bridge which runs between Cowes and East Cowes which will give rise to some noise.

LOCATION:
Home to the oldest and biggest sailing Regatta in the world, Cowes is the number one destination for sailors during the Summer months.
Cowes also boasts a rich wealth of history and culture with its ‘twin’ East Cowes just across the Medina estuary by chain ferry.
Stroll through the vibrant town and enjoy independent shops and well-known yachting clothing stores, sit at a pavement café or have a restaurant lunch and people watch or enjoy a glass of something cold and watch the sun go down over the Solent before having dinner at some excellent pubs and restaurants.
Take yourself across the water to East Cowes via the chain ferry and enjoy a slice of great British history at Osborne; Queen Victoria’s seaside residence. Stroll along her beach and enjoy the walled garden and Swiss Cottage. It’s a wonderful spot for families or just to wander through on your own. There are cultural museums, events and galleries to enjoy on both sides of the Medina and you’ll notice the influence of Prince Albert’s ornate designs in the architecture of many houses and buildings.

This property offers a double sofa bed, If you would like us to supply linen for its use during your stay, this can be provided at an additional cost of £35, per stay.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.
