Summary: We stayed here for two weeks in August 2024 and it is one of the best houses we have rented anywhere. It is spacious and well-appointed. Unusually in rental properties, in our experience, it has very good audio-visual equipment, including Sky TV, a DVD player, sound bar and a good TV with all the usual apps. The location is lovely - it's a large site with plenty of room for everyone and lots of car parking. The wider area is quieter than most of the National Park, which we appreciated. The Manor House pub is walking distance and the food is excellent. The sauna and hot tub were great and heavily used. The pond could be an issue with young children - we had a toddler with us and had to keep a close eye on her of course. As others have commented, the kitchen knives need sharpening or replacing. Overall though a wonderful stay which we certainly hope to repeat.
