Positive: 5 Stars – A Blissful Stay at Calypso in El Cotillo Our stay at Calypso in El Cotillo was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spotless, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing holiday. The full-frontal ocean view was breathtaking, and the beautiful swimming pool just below was an added delight—we spent many t he peaceful hours enjoying both. Carmen, our hostess, was exceptional. She paid attention to every detail and made sure we were completely pampered. Thoughtful amenities were provided to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and her recommendations for local restaurants were spot on—every meal was a joy. The beaches on the lighthouse side were superb, some wonderfully secluded with what we came to call lava bunkers—natural stone formations that gave shelter from the wind and privacy from passers-by. A truly unique and peaceful experience. The location is ideal just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and the charming village centre. El Cotillo has a gentle, authentic charm, and staying at Calypso made it all the more special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend Calypso to anyone looking for a memorable and high-quality stay in Fuerteventura.
