Positive: I think it's a nice apartment for any other season BUT hot summer days as it has only 3 windows; 2 of them are the roof windows and the third one is a big window that opens up towards a tiny balcony (with a nice garden view). It's a comfortable apartment for 2-4 adults maximum. It has all of the appliances and a very good hairdryer. There is a parking place (at no charge) and it was great as I came by car. The apartment is in a quiet area of St. Etienne and has a nice view (overlooking big trees). It is pet friendly which was great for me as I arrived with my 2 dogs.
Negative: It was obvious that the apartment was not tidied up for our arrival ; there were fingerprints everywhere (shower glass door, big living room door/window , toaster, water kettle, table, cabinet doors). Also the toaster was full of breadcrumbs. I tried to phone property management a few times but nobody answered. They answered when I messaged them on WhatsApp. There was a man in the apartment building who I asked to clean upon our arrival and he did but once he left I started to notice more things (like the toaster). In addition it was extremely hot in the apartment as the temp. was 35 degrees C and 2 out of 3 windows are the roof windows so the heat was coming from the roof and the sun was most of the day on the side of the apartment with the big window. I asked for the floor fan but it was not working at 100%. We stayed only 1 day/night as opposed to 3 (I reserved for 4 by mistake).
Summary: Unfortunately It Was A Disappointing Stay for Us
