Nearby Bakewell, Chatsworth, and Matlock Bath are easily accessible by car. There are lovely country walks from the farmhouse itself and a wonderful pub within a ten-minute walk. Matlock has a large variety of shops, supermarkets, a launderette, cafes, restaurants, pubs, an indoor swimming pool, a weekly market, and parks. Nearby Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the river with fish and chips, cable cars, and numerous entertainments. Enjoy a thrilling day at Gulliver’s Kingdom with its owl maze, water gardens, nature trails, exhilarating rides, and cable car trips over the magnificent Matlock Gorge.
