Summary: The good first. We brought our dog and they had a fenced in back yard, which was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The size and layout was the perfect size for our family of 4. Internet was good. Two large fans were provided which was nice since there is no air conditioning. Washing machine was very nice. Now on to the bad. Check in process was terrible. I sent multiple messages before the property owner got back to me and we waited outside the property for At least 30 minutes past check in time before owner told us how to get in to the house. The house itself was not very clean. The bare minimum was done and it was obvious that deep cleaning had not been done for some time. We had to buy cleaning supplies out of our own pockets just to feel comfortable living in the space. There was no coffee pot even though it was listed on the amenities list and only three bath towels for four guests. We did message the property owner and they dropped off a used coffee pot with moldy grounds in it and several extra towels. The lawn had not been mowed in weeks. My husband had to mow a strip of lawn just so our dog could get out to go to the bathroom. Eventually someone did come mow the lawn but it wasn’t done very well. There is no can opener, only two forks, tree spoons, and one semi-sharp knife. The dryer doesn’t work very well, it takes about three hours (or more) to dry a load. The house has a very bad ant problem too. The trash and recycling was overflowing and we had to spend a half an hour breaking down boxes and organizing it just to make space in the driveway. The owner missed trash day again while we were there. We were disappointed when we were preparing to check out and read we needed to clean the house upon our departure or we would receive a fine. We paid a hefty cleaning fee up front and didn’t enter a clean house to begin with. Over all disappointed with the condition of the house.
