Summary: My friends and I stayed at this apartment for the world cup in 2014. It was perfect for what we needed there was plenty of space for the five of us and the the apartment was clean, the location was great and Ricky is easy to deal with. The building is secure and managed 24hrs by very friendly and helpful concierges (we don't speak a lot of Portuguese and they don't speak English but they tried very hard to help us and we always greeting us with a smile). The apartment looks bigger than the photos show and we had plenty of space to hang out in (not that we did much of that). The apartment is centrally located and is a quick walk to Lapa and Santa Teresa, there are buses across the road that go almost anywhere - the apartment is on a main road so it is noisy almost all the time (ear plugs are a must) - but it is a price you pay for the convenience of the location. Ricky was helpful in getting everything ready for us to arrive and provided us with clean linen. He met our friends on the day of their arrival and showed them round the apartment and even helped them get a sim card. All in all the apartment was just as it is described in the listing and we were happy with our choice - would recommend.
