It is a newly refurbished comfortable bright farmhouse with some original features such as the green staircase and green farm doors, the fireplace with the original crane where pots would have been hung for cooking. Upstairs the high timber ceilings give a great sense of space. It has a large garden for eating outdoors in the summer and is cosy in the winter with a real fire lighting in the large stove. It’s ideal for a break away for a couple or two or a small family.
It is situated just off the Wild Atlantic Way, in the Reeks District, an area of outstanding beauty with lots of outdoor activities on your doorstep. Fancy a bit of stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking or hiking, this is the ideal location. You can go from Blue Flag beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way to the towering peaks of the McGillycuddy Reeks, including the highest mountain in Ireland, Carrauntoohil, making for dramatic views all around.
