Summary: Me and the family, stayed with family Leitner for a week in January. Before arrival, I contacted Heidi, to get information about beds and chairs, for our small kids. I asked if we should bring it our selfs, but Heidi told us that she would take care of it. When we arrived, 3 kids beds, and chairs, was in the apartment, and a piece of chocolate on every pillow, just indicated how nice this place is. Heidi gave a tour around the apartment, and the rest of the house, and showed where lifts and slopes were located. The apartment had everything we needed for a pleasent stay (towels, toilet paper, nice beds with bed linen, wifi, large flatscreen tv in the livingroom, ect...) During our stay, Heidi was very helpful answering questions about the town, food places, and other stuff. We really felt at home during our stay. The house it self is located very close to the gondola, and the kids area. We walked in our ski boots to the gondola, in under 3 minutes. You can ski from Maria Alm area, to the rest of Hochkönig, but when you leave the Maria Alm area, you need to take the shuttle bus back. But it only takes 5 minutes, and you rarely needs to wait for more than 5 minutes for the bus. Overall a very pleasent stay, in a nice family friendly house, and ski area. Hopefully we will return again.
