Summary: There's a lot to love about this apartment. - check in/out was easy and well documented- the location was perfect, 10 minutes from the heart of town, walking distance to shops, cafes, the metro, grocery store, etc. - very clean and tidy apartment, everything in good repair- dishwasher and washing machine on site was a bonus- the building (and neighborhood) are very quiet and peaceful.- excellent wifi, easy to use, never had a problem with the signalThe only thing that was a disappointment about the apartment is that it is basement level, which was not disclosed in the listing. I might still have rented it, knowing it was a basement, but I think it's a bit misleading not to disclose this. Because it's a basement, it was cold and damp feeling in March (would probably be great in the summer.) There is a dehumidifier, but no rugs, so the floor was very cold. I had to go buy a pair of slippers.It lists a "balcony" but because it's under street level there is no balcony, it's a little concrete patio, with a view of a concrete wall. I thought I'd be able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and a view, but that's not possible. It is a great little apartment, the host was super helpful and responsive and I would have rated it 10/10 if the listing had been honest about this being a basement apartment. This is the second time that this has happened to me on a short term rental site, and I wish people would fully disclose this, it makes a difference.
