Positive: As the name suggests, the property was in the heart of the village; only a one minute walk to the "centre", where there were cafes, restaurants and a few shops. The property is in a quiet courtyard/square. The property had plenty of room for a couple. The wi-fi worked well. There was ample free public parking nearby. The location was convenient for the next stage of my journey and I would stay there again.
Negative: Finding the property was not easy; it was tucked away down an alleyway in a courtyard, but worth it once found. The key collection process was not very efficient. I phoned the owner several times to arrange collection but there was no reply. Eventually, I drove to a nearby campsite managed by the owner to try and locate her. It took 30-40 minutes to get the keys. The beds were not made up but we had to make our own beds with disposable paper sheets which slipped about on the plastic mattress.
Summary: Straightforward accommodation in the centre of the village.
