2 Bedroom House in Hayborough

200m walk to the beach from our luxury, two-storey architecturally designed beach house with breathtaking views. An unbeatable location in Hayborough, which is only a 1-minute walk to Oliver's Parade and a 5-minute drive to Victor Harbor's center makes a getaway perfect for family or friends in any season. Walk to the beach in summer or enjoy the ambiance of the fire pit and indoor wood fire in winter!
Our beach house has been recently refurbished. The kitchen has been equipped with all-new European cooking facilities, making cooking a safe and fun holiday activity! As shown in the photos, our kitchen is well-appointed; with a dishwasher, microwave, family-size oven and ceramic cooktop, large fridge/freezer, coffee machine (you need beans. ) Downstairs you can find a mini bar fridge.
The open plan living leads into our entertainment area, with a large smart TV and leather coco republic lounge. There are large smart TVs in both living spaces with Netflix and surround sound for your movie nights. The family room has gorgeous views of the Ocean, islands and town centre. For the entertainment of all ages, our downstairs living space has a play station and Fussball table, table tennis table, board games, books, and a luxurious King furniture lounge.
Completely renovated bathrooms and carpeting exacerbate the feeling of a purely luxe seaside retreat. The upstairs bathroom boasts a frameless shower, large rain shower head, backlit mirror over hand basin, and heated towel rail and toilet. All bathrooms have towel rails , hairdryers, backlit mirrors, IXL fan & heating, storage, toilets, and showers. Our downstairs bathroom includes a bath as well as amenities of a washing machine, ironing board, and dryer.
There is NBN broadband Wi-Fi for your enjoyment, and reverse cycle air conditioning for maximum comfort. Overhead fan also accessible in upstairs bedroom,
We have a fully fenced backyard large enough to park your boat, a clothesline. On arrival back from the beach, please use garden hose to rinse the sand off. There is a large backyard for your children to play in. Guests can also find a brand-new playground across the road!
We have recently installed an outdoor firepit and a beautiful timber dining table in the backyard. On the rear deck, there is a gas BBQ and outdoor lounge, and the front deck is fully furnished with a lounge, umbrella, and round dining table. It is perfect for dinner with a view, or just relaxing with your drink or book.
On arrival, all beds are made up to your request. Linen includes all beds, made up with professionally cleaned white sheets, Marimekko doona covers and display cushions. Bathroom towels are includes please your own beach towels Pillows, Dunas, and covers are also provided.
Upstairs -
Bedroom: Split King Size Bed with hotel-grade Pillowtop mattresses, built-in robes, safe, overhead fan, reverse cycle air conditioning, extra pillows and blankets ,bedside lights and tables, and new carpet.
Large open plan kitchen, living, dining, Smart T.V , large modular leather lounge, dining table and chairs for eight, books, iPhone connector to surround speakers, reverse cycle airconditioning. Fully equipped, modern kitchen, with platters, salad bowls, utensils, and cutlery. Dishwasher, microwave, Smeg coffee machine, kettle & toaster. Bosch oven and electric cooktop.
Downstairs
Bedroom: split king bed with pillowtop mattresses, reading lights and tables, wardrobe, new carpet ,extra pillows and blanket
Bathroom: bath, shower, toilet and laundry facilities, including a washing machine & tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board.
The second living space with a luxurious King living lounge. Newly polished concrete flooring and a Smart TV., boasting Netflix, DVD, play station, bean bags, table tennis table, Fussball table and books, board games, and puzzles.
Everything is nearby; Oliver’s Parade beach, golf, shopping, world-famous wineries, scenic drives, whale watching, the Cockle train, horse-drawn carriage to Granite Island, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
Easy walk and you are on the beach in minutes. Walks, surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, fishing, and snorkeling are all out front. A 25-minute stunning sandy beach walk has you on the Main Street of Victor.
A five-minute walk also has you at On The Run, Dominos, Ocean Crest fish & chips, (voted best fish & chips in Victor) a Chinese restaurant, and a pharmacy! Large Coles, Bunnings, and Aldi are two minutes drive.
Five-minute drive and you are in the city center of Victor Harbor. The town centre has Foodland (7am-10pm), Woolworths (8am-9pm), Drakes, Veg Out fruit & vegetable market, Big W, Liquorland, Subway, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken , restaurants, cafes and hotels.
Weekend local produce market every Saturday morning in the reserve opposite Woolworths complex has fruit, bread, meat, fish, sweets and more from the Fleurieu Peninsula and Adelaide Hills.
Golf Courses- McCracken, Victor Harbor, Lady Bay, Mt Compass and Goolwa all well manicured and enjoyable for any standard of game. Mini golf next to the information centre on the Esplanade
Shopping- Casual wear, surf wear, antiques, curios, art galleries and homewares. Scattered through Victor, Normanville, Pt Elliot, Middleton and Goolwa
Wineries- All nearby Currency Creek, McLaren Vale, Yankalilla

The famous Cockle Train is a steam engine that travels from Victor Harbor to Goolwa several times a day. In the main street of Victor there is an Old style lolly shop which is a treat for everyone.! The movie theatre of yester years is well worth a visit always showing the latest films. Some of the cafes including Nino's do a "movie meal deal."
Indoor Aquatic Centre (Ocean Rd & Waterport Rd) is 5 minute drive from "Sandhouse".
Authenticity Health Retreat - Waterport Rd, Pt Elliot offers massage, yoga and well being.
Beaches -
Out the front is a fabulous family friendly beach, 5 minute walk toward Pt Elliot is "Dump beach" perfect for boogie boards and another 5 minute walk is 'Boomer beach" perfect for surfing .
Pt Elliot has scenic "Horseshoe Bay".
Goolwa beach is one of the very few beaches you can drive a car on.
Waitpinga Beach is a 15 minute drive west of Victor Harbor with pristine waters family friendly.
Petrel Cove is a dangerous swimming beach that is part of an picturesque walk along the coast.
Loads of scenic drives along the coast or winding through the hills and wineries.
Walk to Granite Island or ride on the historical horse drawn carriage. Enjoy walking around The Bluff. The Heysen trail. Petrel Cove to Kings Beach. Walk from "Sandhouse“ to Pt Elliot or Victor Harbor. Walking paths and bike paths have signposts.
Urimbirra Wildlife Park- hold koalas and feed the kangaroos. Five minute drive from
" Sandhouse " on the right hand side of the large roundabout just before you arrive into Victor. Across the road is Nangawooka Flora and Fauna walk lots of seating available.
