It is an easy drive to Saluda, Columbus, and Tryon. Close outdoor activities include hiking, tubing, and kayaking. Additional entertainment includes local vineyards, breweries, restaurants, orchards, and antique shops. Hendersonville and Asheville are both great day trips. A trailhead across the street provides access to 13 miles of hiking trails. The community's low traffic roads are great for walking and biking.
