'Primo Sole’ – this name is based on the fact that, from the apartment’s terrace, preferably while enjoying a good breakfast, you can witness a breathtaking spectacle: the new day’s first rays of sunlight flashing across the sea and bathing the slopes of Albori in a fantastically warm and golden light.
All those who wish for relaxing and stress-free holidays will find this apartment in the contemplative and authentic village of Albori, far from the hustle and bustle, but still close to all the places of interests of the Amalfi coast, to be the ideal holiday accommodation.
The holiday apartment:
Embedded in the hilly, partly mountainous landscape around Albori and surrounded by a spacious garden, Primo Sole lies in the midst of a green oasis.
The two bedrooms – one with double bed, the other with single bed and access of the terrace – sleep up to three persons.
The lounge room includes a dining area and a sofa. Besides, there is a SAT-TV as well as a DVD player. The open kitchen offers everything you need for a leisurely dinner ‚alla italiana’. This includes 4-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment and espresso maker.
Completely renovated only recently, the bathroom with shower cabin, WC, bidet and washing machine now has a shiny new look.
Outdoor area:
The large terrace, accessible from the lounge room as well as from one of the bedrooms, represents the heart of the apartment. It opens upon a unique view of Albori to your right, of the Amalfi coast’s green hills to your left and of the Tyrrhenian Sea right in front of you.
In the lush garden at your feet, the owners grow fruit and vegetables and you are welcome to taste them.
Parking:
As the medieval center of Albori is off limits to cars, you have to park your car in the public parking lot just outside the village, but only about 180 m from the holiday apartment.
Surrounding area:
Although the apartment lies surrounded by green and somewhat apart from the village, the main square of Albori with the church of Santa Margherita is only 500 m off. For a small in-between snack, we recommend Bruschetteria „Pub Albori“, a mere 300 m off. At the Agriturismo, about 500 m off, you can have a very good evening meal.
One grocery store is to be found at Albori, the others are at the neighbouring town of Raito, about 800 m off.
It is 3 km to the nearest sandy beach which can be reached easily on foot, too, via a stepped path.
Tips for excursions:
At the foot of the mountain on which Albori is located and directly at the seaside, you find the town of Vietri sul Mare, which is famous for its ceramics factories. In the town’s small alleys, numerous merchants offer their colorful goods for sale.
Other worthwhile destinations at the colorful Amalfi coast, such as Positano, Conca dei Marini or the town of Amalfi itself, are only few kilometers off and easily reached by bus or car.
Those who love nature walks should follow the hiking trail directly from Primo Sole. It takes you through Parco Croce to Monte Falerzio with the Cesare spring.
