Positive: The apartment was well presented and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfy and kitchen well appointed. Nice to have a balcony off each floor. It was very easy to enter the property with a code, although I had to ask for the code on the day we moved in as it had not been sent. Walking distance to great pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as The Grand Electric Theatre. They were very helpful with allowing us to extend the check out one hour.
Negative: The fact the apartment had 3 flights of stairs which you only find out once you have paid in full (non refundable). They are very steep and some tread heights are higher than others making it quite difficult, especially when carrying luggage. My sister is 80 and she found them very difficult. I gladly gave her the bedroom on 1st floor. Living area was second floor and 2nd bed on third floor. There was no coffee, tea or milk provided. It was extremely noisy, so if you are a light sleeper this is not for you, or bring earplugs. The street parking is timed and I had to keep moving the car as no parking provided. You also have to pay a $350 damage deposit (refundable) to a third party and this is on top of a very high rental fee.
Summary: Too noisy for us at night and stairs an issue. I felt it was a bit overpriced.
