Shhh…. Do you want to know a secret? Sometimes we all need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and allow ourselves to relax, rejuvenate, reset and reconnect with nature.
Come join us deep in the South West forests in the scenic, quaint and historic timber town of Pemberton. We are a three-and-a-half-hour drive South of Perth and additionally benefit from having secluded coastlines such as Salmon Beach and Yeagarup Beach/Dunes being under an hour’s drive away from us as well as Walpole and Peaceful Bay being only a further thirty minutes’ drive. We are the less well-known neighbour of Margaret River, with a generous handful of our own award-winning wineries, restaurants and nearby local providore producers.
Our character property is a ten-minute walk from the town centre, where there are several eating options and various amenities including a pharmacy, bank, post office, pub with outdoor seating, various coffee shops, restaurants, supermarket, bottleshops and laundries. Both the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail run past our main road and we are an easy walk to the Gloucester Tree. As well as these tranquil forests, we are a one-and-a-half-hour drive to the Valley Of The Giants treetop walk. Else lay back and enjoy the sights, scents and sounds of our picturesque gardens and spot the wide variety of butterflies, birds and flowers. It’s a home away from homes without the housework. As well as this property there is an old pioneer cottage on site which is currently being refurbished.
Our accommodation offers luxury with a focus on wellness and have been tastefully decorated with the delights of our forest flora and fauna in mind. This stunning wooden house was built in 2000 by an antique dealer who has tastefully incorporated reclaimed crystal lead glass designer double doors, jarrah doors, jarrah sash windows and jarrah skirting boards from a period house built in the 1800’s in Applecross, Perth.
Our well-appointed rooms contain queen and long single beds all with the highest quality orthopaedic mattresses as well as anti-allergen mattress toppers as standard. Our beds are draped in breathable, long staple one-thousand thread count cotton satin weave sheets for a silky soft feel against your skin. All bedrooms are airconditioned with split systems, circulation fans and built-in robes with shelving. Luxury continues with showers big enough for two and make sure you make use of the locally sourced toiletries, which include shower fizzes, so you can close your eyes and let the aromas take you even deeper into our gardens and forest. Then select which towels you wish to wrap yourself up in from your own bale of carefully sourced soft, plush, light weight and yet absorbent quality cotton towels.
Your privacy is assured with your accommodation comprising of the entire first floor and a large living room, ensuite bedroom on the ground floor in this stately home consisting of four bedrooms (sleeping 8), 2 bathrooms (one being an ensuite) and your own kitchenette. The owners have their own living area and gardens at the back of the house (who are available by SMS as required), allowing you to make full use of the beautiful and idyllic front garden, spacious outdoor veranda and large airconditioned lounge with dining table. The lounge contains a large stocked bookcase, two large sash window seats, smart television with Netflix, DVD/CD player, use of Playstation Kinnect with various games and a wood burner available in the winter months to sit and listen to the gentle crackle of the fire. Your kitchenette comprises of a Lavazza coffee machine (please feel free to bring pods), kettle, small fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, ironing facilities and a variety of plates, cutlery and glasses which will be replenished and washed by the owners. (Holidays are not for washing the dishes!) There is a BBQ and seating areas out on the patio reserved solely for you and your family else friends, as well as a fire pit available in the winter months. For your protection and peace of mind the property also has monitored CCTV to the front and rear of the property and is fully fenced with gates at the front entrance. Wi-Fi is available to all guests.

Our holistic and wellness retreat is located at the end of your terrace providing a range of reiki, crystal healings, guided meditations as well as forest oracle readings.
