The owners are totally passionate about real bread and want to share that with you. If you too love bread and baking and want to learn more then why not join us on one of our popular Artisan Bread Making Workshops.
Workshops are held in our Bakehouse with its traditional wood burning oven so you can have a truly hands on experience making various breads from around the world and learning new skills that will enable you to make fresh, great tasting bread whenever you like.
Surrounded by some of the most beautiful unspoilt rolling countryside just on the edge of the South Downs National Park with numerous public footpaths to explore and enjoy - a paradise for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Situated just outside the pretty historic market town of Steyning, with its many interesting individual shops, delightful tearooms, cafés and pubs. The south coast beaches are within a 10 minute drive and the vibrant coastal city of Brighton & Hove within 25 minutes.
THE ACCOMMODATION PROVIDES
Entrance lobby (great for wellies!)
Kitchenette area with fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, microwave/grill, 4 pan ceramic hob, oven, kettle & toaster. (the facilities are configured across two adjoining rooms) NB: No washing machine
Lounge with Inglenook fireplace with cosy woodburning stove, Freeview TV, DVD, Ipod dock and Wi-Fi.
Large conservatory/dining area which is lovely to relax in the sun with views to the garden and the woods & pond beyond. (high chair)
On the first floor: Bathroom with roll top bath and hand shower, double room with kingsize bed and children’s adjoining suite which has two single children's beds (suitable for up to age 12) . (hair dryer, baby bath, changing mat, travel cots available)
Whilst the ceiling height in the cottage is 6'2 - 6'4 some beams are lower at 6'1 and 5'11 in places.
