Relax and enjoy this beautiful lake front home. This two-story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath chalet-style home features beautiful views of Lake Waubesa, including gorgeous sunrises.
This is a fisher’s, bicyclist’s, and boater’s paradise with over 30 golf courses and frisbee golf also nearby. Minutes away from the Wisconsin state capitol, historic downtown Madison and Farmer’s Markets by bike, boat or car. Boat to nearby restaurants.
Lake Waubesa is a 2000 acre lake with great fishing, including Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye and Catfish.
Don’t forget your bikes. Madison’s miles and miles of bike trails are accessible just a short distance away and have some of the best views in the greater Madison area.
The home is also just minutes away from Camp Randall for easy access for Wisconsin Badger games.
Relax in the living area perfect for lake views, or sit outside on the deck, patio or pier.
The yard is level and just steps away from the lake and is enjoyable when you grill or relax with an evening campfire in the firepit. The long dock is perfect for sunning, fishing or launching a canoe or kayak. You may wish to bring your own boat and launch it from nearby boat launches. The pier can be used to dock your boat during your stay. Please note that the pier is generally available from late April to mid-October. Two single person kayaks and a peddle boat are available for use as well as water tubes and inflatables(at your own risk).
During the winter months, cross country ski or snow shoe right from the back door. The lake is also a popular ice fishing spot.
The open kitchen/living area is perfect for family gatherings. A large dining table has comfortable seating for six - eight.
The first-floor bedroom features a queen size bed and large closet. A bathroom with shower and laundry appliances are directly across the hall.
Upstairs includes two large bedrooms (one with queen bed overlooking the lake!), built-in dressers and many closets. And a “kids” room upstairs features a twin bed and double bed, Playstation4, and children’s books.
A full bathroom with shower and tub is conveniently located between the bedrooms.
Linens are provided in the bathroom & kitchen and for the beds. Bring a favorite pillow or blanket--or enjoy ours!
The kitchen includes all amenities for your entire stay: full size refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Small appliances such as coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, electric skillet and blender and a few basic pantry items are available for your use. Grills (both gas and charcoal) are just out the door and off the lake and are available year round. The kitchen is fully-stocked with dishes, silverware, pots & pans, utensils, glasses, mugs, and serving ware.
Home includes central air and heating and ceiling fans.

This is a family home in a community of single family residences. We require a minimum age of 25 years for rental. This is not a party home. Guests are not allowed to throw large parties — small gatherings are fine. The neighborhood has a "no noise policy" outside after 10pm and the Lake House and guests will be asked to follow this community ordinance.
A campground is 10 minutes away to share with friends
Note: a friend's pontoon boat is kept at the dock. This is not available for guest use or rental. You may see them cross the yard to access the dock but will be very respectful of your privacy and space.
