Positive: The flat was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The location was good - nice area but about 18 minutes walk from Bondi Junction. There is only one bus and it is not really reliable and it's a 5 minute walk from the flat. Edgecliffe station is about the same distance in the other direction. (about 10 - 15 mins walk but a steep uphill coming back) There are no shops or cafes in the immediate vicinity but the best coffee in the area (At the Vernon Cafe) is about an 10 minute walk towards Bondi Junction where there are a huge number of travel options, shops and cafes. We were there for a month so we did get a bit fed up with the walk. There is a garage for a small car which is useful.
Negative: There were a few minor maintenance issues. Nothing major and the hosts were very quick to respond to any concerns, and they clearly hadn't been informed by some previous tenants of simple things that needed sorting out.
Summary: Very nice flat which was extremely clean and well equipped. Quiet and with a useful outside space
