The property offers year round outdoor amusement with a large entertainment deck, lounge seating and dining, a tree hung hammock, a natural gas grill and of course, the incredible hot tub with views of Bear Mountain's ski slopes! The property has a large backyard and side yard, perfect for playing in the snow or yard games!
Inside offers a fully stocked kitchen with a unique dining area that is showcased around a rock-wall wood burning fireplace. Enjoy a wide selection of board games and complimentary Netflix, Disney+ and a Bluetooth sound system to jam out with. The master bedroom (with king size bed) and common bathroom are located on the main level while a charming loft caters as an additional sleeping area upstairs. The loft has a full size bed, a twin bed and two enchanting skylights. The loft is recommended for 2 adults or 3 smaller bodies.
The driveway is on a slight incline and can adequately accommodate 2 vehicles. Make forever memories here at Bear Lookout!

This cabin can accommodate 5 guest total. However, if your party is all adults then I suggest booking with a max # of 4. The loft has a full size bed and a twin bed. The loft can comfortably accommodate 2 adults or 3 smaller bodies.

We allow 1 pet max, not weighing more than 45 pounds. If you have an aggressive dog, do not book this property. Second pet possible, with approval+ $35 pet fee.
🩵 HOT TUB 🩵
We service our hot tub after every reservation. However, please help in overseeing the Hot Tub's well-being during your stay. To help maintain tub clarity and cleanliness, please shower before entering.

A natural gas bbq is located off the kitchen slider. Directions of how to operate can be found in the property manual, located inside the cabin.
♻️ TRASH ♻️
The cabin's trash bins are available for guest use. Please bag all trash and put into bins with the lid closed and LOCKED (to avoid mountain animals sneaking into the bins).

BE ADVISED: The cabin has great Internet, but is common for Big Bear to lose internet service and/or have power outages. This can happen during bad winter storms, very heavy winds and even vehicles crashing into power lines.

There is no a/c at the cabin. Fans are provided.

Please take caution during our winter months and keep snow chains, a snow shovel and salt on hand at all times. The cabin is stocked with a snow shovel but not guaranteed as it is common for guest to break or misplace them.
The cabin sits in upper Moonridge, you will be driving up hillsides and winding curves. The driveway has an incline as well and you will need traction. You must park in the driveway, street parking is not permitted. Snow plows will be in operations throughout all hours of the day and night. 4WD or AWD highly recommend in winter.
The cabin has a brand new wall heater, a wood burning fireplace (guests provide their own wood) and portable heaters. Extra blankets and bedding as well to keep cozy.
