Your 4-Day Tanzania Safari from Moshi - Explore Kilimanjaro Region Wildlife

Summary: I did a four-day safari with Altezza after a Kilimanjaro climb with them. Everything between both activities was excellently coordinated. I went to three parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti) with a private guide. He was top notch, really knowledgeable and friendly but also knew when to stay quiet and let me enjoy. The animals were incredible. Lots of driving, but drinks and snacks were plentiful. A bucket list adventure for sure!

Summary: I did a solo safari to Serengeti! Altezza was wonderful and handled every detail! My driver, Antoni was so friendly and kind! I was met at the small Seronera airstrip by my safari guide, Carlos. I spent 3 days with Carlos and he was the BEST! He was very knowledgeable about the animals and so kind and accommodating. I stayed at Whisper Serengeti Lodge and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms/tents were very large and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was delicious and the staff was outstanding! I highly recommend this Safari adventure with Altezza!

Summary: My family's trip with Altezza could not have been more perfect. Altezza was extremely flexible and communicative throughout the planning process (which was quick for my family--we planned the entire trip within three weeks), offering prompt responses to our many questions across different time zones. Then, once we arrived, we found that everything we might have worried about had been taken care of—transportation, food, accommodations, and luggage were attended to at every stage of our itinerary, and we hardly had to lift a finger to mobilize our schedule. The accommodations were beautiful, the people were kind, the food was delicious, and we were constantly in awe of the life we were living each day of our trip. And when we needed them, Altezza was always one WhatsApp message away, and went above and beyond to address any issues that arose (such as through their efforts to secure medicine for my dad, with one of the camp attendants offering to drive four hours through the night to retrieve it). But it was our guide who truly made our trip. We spent our four-day safari with Hussein, who has been with Altezza for twelve years. Hussein’s passion for his job shone through every action and word, and even the tone of his voice every time that he spoke. My sister and I love animals, and Hussein met our enthusiasm with his own by prioritizing experiences that he knew would be important to us. He listened attentively and remembered each of our questions and our preferences, conducting research overnight when we asked him something he didn’t know the answer to (a rare occurrence) and ensuring that we spent time with animals we mentioned we found really interesting (even when we didn’t remember telling him!). Additionally, Hussein is incredibly skilled at what he does—he knows the geography like the back of his hand, had an answer to almost every one of our detailed questions, and was always one step ahead of the other tour companies—he always knew where the animals were going, and would position our Jeep and wait patiently so that we could see once-in-a-lifetime moments that other cars had left behind. And above all, Hussein was relentlessly kind, personable, caring, and thoughtful. He has a love for animals that manifests in everything that he does, and invests so much energy into sharing that passion with the people around him, in his car or otherwise. He treated us not as customers but as friends, and we left Tanzania with the memory of a friendship we did not expect to find on this trip. We would not have had the experience we did without Hussein, and we cannot thank him enough for his kindness. Overall, we probably went on the most cost efficient safari anyone could go on when traveling from across the world, but we constantly asked ourselves how we were getting so much for so little. The trip truly could not have been more perfect, and I have never recommended anything more wholeheartedly. You will love every moment of your time with Altezza (and Hussein, if you’re lucky enough to have him!).
