Summary: We had a lovely time with Pete, our tour guide! He was knowledgeable about the area and answered all the questions we had. He was flexible in terms of itinerary and stopped when we wanted to get a picture of something we saw. The fall colors were absolutely stunning! For the most part, everyone could hear Pete's explanations of what we were seeing, especially when we stopped at different places. However, there were times when he was answering the questions of the person in the front seat and he didn't talk loud enough for everyone in the van to hear. Perhaps he thought he was simply having a private conversation with the person next to him? We had five adults in the van, and there seemed to be plenty of room. I would definitely recommend a private tour with this company.

Summary: Mary is a consummate local 'historian' and great tour guide who loves to share her wonder and true appreciation for this beautiful area! We sensed a sweet sincerity in her concise interpretation and explanation of the cultural, historical and folklore of the Acadia area. Also had a chance to see some of the more out of the way local favorite drive spots that a tour bus would not be able to drive thru such as some of the more exclusive private homes and properties on small roads. And lastly, she made sure that there was more than enough time to get lots of photos for the memories of it all!!! We could never have known about so much hidden beauty that is all around this beautiful area. So...thank you kindly Mary!
