I was nervous booking this as it was the first time I've used Tripadvisor and it was a last minute booking, but I'm so glad that I did. I had a solo tour with a very knowledgeable and flexible guide and was able to really get to know Penang. When we first met, he asked what I was interested in, I told him that I was interested in the history and culture, and he catered my experience around that. It was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the most out of the city in a quick amount of time.

Summary:
This tour is a good way to cover a lot of ground in Penang in one day. I had an itinerary in mind, but with heavy rain for part of the day, the driver, Nasir, made helpful suggestions - temples, museums, a mansion, and then several outdoor sights once the weather cleared. It turned what could have been a washout into a full and worthwhile day.
Nasir was personable, accommodating, spoke good English, and keep things moving at a comfortable pace. The car was clean and comfortable, which made the ride between stops easy.
My advice: request an English-speaking driver, bring cash for site entry, and enjoy.
